The LCSO GovQA portal accepts public-record requests online. For current jail information, contact the Leon County Detention Facility at 535 Appleyard Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32304, or call (850) 606-3500. LCSO publishes no universal booking-photo fee or fixed response time, so ask for an electronic copy and an advance estimate.
A Tallahassee Police Department arrest creates a second records path. Request the police incident or arrest report from the TPD Records Unit, 234 East 7th Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32303, at (850) 891-4221. Counter hours are Monday through Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to noon. The jail intake photograph remains an LCSO record.
Use the route that matches the person's custody stage:
- For a county booking photo, current roster result, recent arrest, release information, or older booking record, begin with the Leon County records guide and then use LCSO's official search or request channel.
- For an active warrant question, review Most Wanted and verify through the LCSO Warrants Unit or the court rather than relying on a name match alone.
- For a Tallahassee police report, use TPD's records office or its JustFOIA portal.
- For a sentenced Florida prisoner or supervision record, use the Florida Department of Corrections Offender Search.
- For federal custody from 1982 onward, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator. Its public results do not include inmate photographs.
- For current or certain recent adult immigration custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator System. It is a custody locator, not a mugshot source.
